More Funding

We have received news that the Barron Bell Trust has agreed to support our project with a grant of £2,500. We thank them for a timely Christmas gift.

Following interest shown last year in an evening ascent of the tower, we ran the first of two tours to coincide with the town’s Christmas Sparkle day on Saturday 28th November.  Alas, there was not much to be Sparkly about on this night, for Storm Clodagh was arriving and events in the town were cancelled due to the horrible weather.

Carols on hand bells

Time to turn our attention to ringing some smaller bells as we start ringing carols round Taunton’s supermarkets to raise funds for the new bells, starting at Morrisons on December 13th.
